The problem
Suppliers send XML or CSV files in their own layouts, and their prices and stock levels change constantly. Without a connector, every update means another manual import or a custom script to maintain.
Version 1.0.1 imports simple products only. A supplier product with variants is skipped, not half-written, and the import report gives the reason. A HikaShop product that already uses the same SKU is left unchanged. Full steps are in the installation guide; help is on the support page.
Plans
Joomla plans are billed every 3 months or once a year. There is no monthly price. Yearly is the default and saves 29% compared with four 3-month payments. The free test does not expire, but it only creates up to 100 unpublished drafts and never runs a schedule. A full import and scheduled price and stock updates need Starter or Growth. Starting a paid plan includes one 14-day trial for that store.

Answers
HikaShop’s own import reads CSV files or pasted data, so XML usually has to be converted first. FeedPup for Joomla reads the supplier XML feed directly: install com_feedpup, pair HikaShop Business, add the feed link, confirm the field mapping and test up to 100 unpublished drafts before a paid sync.
Yes, in two ways. HikaShop Essential and Business include a Products Cron Update plugin for scheduled CSV imports with column mapping. FeedPup adds supplier XML feeds and reviewed field mapping, then writes name, description, published state, price, stock and missing images on a daily or 6-hourly schedule, depending on plan.
