FeedPup for Joomla: changelog

This page lists the releases of the installable Joomla component com_feedpup. Joomla also shows new versions in System → Update → Extensions, using the update server at /joomla/updates.xml.

Changes to the hosted FeedPup service (feed reading, mapping, sync) do not need a new component version and are not listed here.

1.0.1 — 25 October 2026

Maintenance release. No change to how the shop connects or what is synced. Install it over 1.0.0 (System → Install → Extensions) or update from System → Update → Extensions; the existing connection is kept.

• The component is now named FeedPup for HikaShop in the Joomla menu and Extensions manager.
• Database access uses the Joomla 4+ container (DatabaseInterface) instead of the deprecated Factory::getDbo().
• Removed an unused import from the install script.
• Install, update from 1.0.0 and uninstall checked on Joomla 4.4.14, 5.4.10 and 6.2.0 with PHP 8.4.

First public release.

• Administrator component FeedPup (Components → FeedPup).
• Connects a HikaShop Business shop to FeedPup with a one-time pairing code. Nothing is sent to FeedPup until you click Connect.
• Opens the FeedPup app from the Joomla administrator with a signed, short-lived link.
• Disconnect button that removes the stored connection from Joomla and tells FeedPup to unlink the shop.
• The connection secret is stored encrypted in the component settings.
• English (en-GB) language files.
• Joomla update server for future versions.

Requirements: PHP 8.1 or newer, HikaShop Business 6.6.0 or newer with the Connector API enabled. See the install guide for the supported Joomla versions and setup steps.
